Dramatic Art Deco Sterling Silver Ring Set with Faceted Green Glass
A dreamy 1930's sterling silver ring!
Its so hard to find these Art Deco treasures -I have only had a handful to offer in 30 years-but I just lucked out and received a large collection. This is one of my favorites.
The sterling silver ring features a large oval cut glass in the hue of a fine emerald from Columbia. My pictures aren't catching the hue exactly-its a bit more intense emerald green with slight blue. The stone measures shy of 3/4" length and 1/2" width. Set by four prongs, The shoulders feature baguette cut clear stones channel set.
Stamped sterling inside the shank.
Overall it is in very good vintage condition. Under magnification there is very tiny facet junction wear. The stone moves slightly if you shake it hard but jeweler has checked it and its ready to be worn and enjoyed again.
