c1920 German 10K Yellow Gold Bohemian Cut Garnet Riviera Necklace
This is a once in a lifetime piece I'll never see again. Riviera necklaces are highly sought after and Georgian garnet ones can cost in over $4,000.
This piece dates to the 1920's. It is marked on the clasp 10K Germany. The mountings are substantial and each has an oval bohemian cut garnet measuring approx. 8.6 x 6.5 mm each. The garnets are a deep red juicy hue. The top cut has light dancing across each facet. A truly beautiful piece to see and it feels so nice on the neck. The clasp is hidden so it seamlessly wraps around the neck. Weighs 29 grams and is 16" in length.
There is a matching bracelet and I hope someone buys both. If you remove the safety chains you can link them together and wear it as a longer necklace. You can also easily have a jeweler remove a link or two so it fits you.
Condition is very good -honestly for a piece around 100 years old I'd really say excellent. I didn't test the safety chain and spring ring so assume its gold filled.
I can offer 3 month layaway on this to make jewelry dreams come true.
