Art Nouveau Pink Faceted Glass Festoon Goddess Necklace
A great example of Art Nouveau jewelry 1880-1915. Gold Filled.
This choker features an Art Nouveau design with pink faceted glass and glass coated pearls. The central drop has a large cushion shaped faceted pink glass bezel set. Above is a goddess with flowing hair. The drop measures 2.25" from top to bottom. There are decorative pink glass set links with glass coated pearls. Barrel clasp in working order.
The piece overall is in very good. Please note some loss to the coating on the round pearls. The length is 14.25". These pieces were meant to be worn tight to the neckline. Possible to add some extra chain at the back to enlarge.
The color of the faceted glass is a beautiful pink -mimics a pink sapphire. Rarely do I get such a fine example in hand.
