An antique 10K yellow gold pin celebrating the celestial event of Halley's comet passing the earth in 1910. The pin features a comet set with an old mine cut paste stone measuring approx. 5 mm wide set by 7 prongs at the head. The tail features two curls. C-clasp on back in good working order. 3/4" length x just shy of 1/4" width.
Condition is good-under magnification there is a chip under a prong on the upper facet-by eye you can't tell. Stone is secure. Overall it is a fun collectible piece of history.
