An Interesting Vintage 10K Yellow Gold Ring Set with a Fantasy Cut Amethyst

10K yellow gold ring is quite large and features an oval lavender (Rose de France) amethyst in a unique fantasy cut. Lots of tight ray facets off the keel line make this gemstone pop. The facets off the table are curve down slightly-hard to explain but an usual cut.
Amethyst measures 20 x 15.3 mm, set securely by 4 prongs. Currounded by a twisted rope frame. Top to bottom of ring measures 1". Sits off the finger 11.16 mm.
