This piece began its life in the late 1800's as a shirt stud. Jeweler has carefully reworked the back and added a jump ring to wear as a pendant. The metal is gold filled. The mosaic is finely crafted from glass tesserae and the gold glass is foiled and glints in the light. The inlay is amazing down to the tiny legs and wings. I am not seeing any missing pieces-but please study the photos. Highly collectible.
