Antique Victorian Sparkling Paste 8-9K Yellow Gold Brooch
One of the prettiest Victorian paste pieces I've had the opportunity to offer for sale.
Dates to the 1860-1890
The brooch has been tested by touchstone and acid and holds lightly at 10k so we estimate its around 8-9K yellow gold. The paste is in excellent antique condition-sparkles and is free from damage. Each paste is cut in an old mine cut and is set in in a bezel. The center paste measures approx. 11.5 wide. The paste around the center measures approx. 7 mm wide. The back features a c clasp. 1 3/8" diameter.
This piece has been loved through the decades. To care for paste you do not want to get it wet. Wipe it gentle across the top and it will continue to shine for another 100+ years.
