I estimate it was made in the 1940's.
Solid 14k yellow gold (stamped inside). The release mechanism works perfectly-and lockes back down and holds. The front and back has a brushed finished. On the front monogram panel is engraved JOY. 2 7/8" length x 1/2" wide.
