Mid Century 14K White Gold Ring Featuring a .50 ct Brilliant Cut Diamond

Mid century diamond ring in 14K white gold (stamped and tested). The ring features a .50 diamond (estimated set). Diameter is around 5.34 so it is likely slightly more than a .50 ct. The diamond is very well cut, good sparkle and in the near colorless range, very clean under the loupe-VS clarity. Securely set in four prongs. On each side are two round cut diamonds. Diamond is in excellent condition.
The jeweler strengthened this ring and it is good to wear and enjoy but if you are looking for a everyday hardy engagement ring I would suggest we remove the diamond reset in a thicker setting. I just hate to scrape these old setting so I try to keep them going. It was greatly loved in its past life. Diamond though is quality and we can easily reset.
