Antique
Edwardian 9-10K yellow gold engraved enameled crescent moon with star motif set with old mine cut diamond. The brooch measures 1 3/4" wide. The center features an enamel crescent moon with orangey-red flowers with yellow centers. The star/flower has blue enamel petals and is set with an old mine cut diamond measures approx. 2.25 mm diameter. The condition is very good for a piece over 100 years old. Just a tiny bit of the blue enamel is missing upon a close look. C-clasp back. The pin stems moves freely but once its placed on fabric holds fine.
Looking at the style its possibly an early Krementz piece.
