When I see this style ring I am transported back to around World War II when jewelers made sweetheart rings. This one is set with a rectangle Rose de France amethyst (lighter soft purple hue) measuring approx. 10 x 8.22 mm, around 2.4-2.9 cts. The amethyst is securely set by four corner prongs. On each side are forget me not flowers in square box mountings. The back of the shank measures 1.48 mm wide.
It was tucked away for many years by the original owners daughter and very dusty. I did notice there was still dust under the stone taking photos-so I will soak her a little longer to remove.
Stamped 14K in shank and tested.
Great everyday ring-the corner prongs protect the edges, solid shank. Currently a sz 5 but message us if you need sizing estimate.
Overall in very good preowned condition. 2.8 grams
