If you love jewelry with a story this piece was custom designed by a lady who took all the diamonds her boyfriends gave her over the years and set them in a custom designed swirl ring around the 1960-1970's. We shall call her Mrs. D-a delightful lady with good taste-it looks like it took her awhile to find "the one."
The ring is substantial and solid 14k yellow gold. Front measures 13/18" wide (north south on the finger). The diamonds range in size from approx. .20 -.07 ctw each, approx. .85 ctw. The diamonds are near colorless, vs-I clarity, Each diamond is set in 14k white gold prongs. Well designed and well made.
Currently the ring will fit a finger around 6.5 please note the back of shank is a bit squared off-kept the ring from spinning on her finger. Reach out for sizing service the jeweler can round out the shank but the shape does assist with keeping it from turning. I've been sporting it a few hours on my pointer finger and it stays put and is very comfortable. I wear a 6.5.
Stamped 14k and tested, 7.70 grams.
