A beautiful pearl and diamond ring dating to the late Edwardian period and Early Art Deco Period. The ring is platinum (tested) and stamped K&S (maker) inside the shank. The front features a whitish pearl measuring 4.47 mm diameter post set. Surrounding the pearl is a halo of Old European cut diamonds, measuring approx. 1.70 mm each, approx. .25 ctw, near colorless, clean under the loupe (including the two diamonds on the shoulders). The pearl sits up in a filigree basking mounting. The shoulders are engraved and then are grooved towards the back.
The front measures 10.51 mm (the round portion).
This is a sweet timeless piece. The condition is very good preowned.
