A fine example of Edwardian jewelry. 14K yellow gold (not marked but tested in multi areas by touchstone) locket with machine engine turning front and back with basket and flower, laurel wreath, scroll decoration. In the monogram panel is a hand engraved ??H? Inside the locket has one frame with glass. The locket opens by pressing the cabochon sapphire at the top.
Condition is excellent. Top to bottom it measures 2 in. tall x 1.25 in. wide. Locket stays shut. When closing press down the button first then shut locket and release. It will keep the locket closing well in the future.
Its a rare beautiful piece. The best one I've ever offered for sale.
