Genuine Art Deco 1940 Sterling Silver Smoky Quartz Filigree Ring

Sterling silver Art Deco filigree ring featuring a genuine smoky quartz in a marquise shape. This is not a reproduction but a piece that truly dates to the 1940's. The marquise is 18 x 9.35 mm, approx. 5 cts. The gemstone is securely set by four decorative prongs. The setting is lacy filigree . Marked Ster inside for sterling (was also verified). Sits up off the finger 7.70 mm.
The condition is in my opinion very good for the age. As you can see by photos the top of ring is not scratched or chipped Only under magnification could I note that the points were not crisp-but its possible they didn't polish them to a exact point. By eye it looks amazing.
Currently a size 6.25 but message if you need sizing service.
I left patina on it but the sterling can be polished brighter.
